1. What is your role in SAIB?

My role is mainly updating our social media and website to keep our supporters up to date on what we are doing and what is going on within St Anne’s in Bloom.

2. How long have you been a volunteer and why did you join?

I have been a volunteer for about 4 years now and joined because I was interested in helping to continue making St Annes a great place to live.

3. Biggest achievement to date?

My biggest achievement I think was organising the Colourful Welcome competition for businesses in St Annes. We had lots of entries and it was very popular and very satisfying to see the beautiful entries.

5. Specialist interest?

I am generally interested in gardening and in addition to helping with social media I enjoy working as part of the Promenade Gardening group on Thursday afternoons.

6. Why should other people join?

I would encourage anyone who is interested to join us. You don’t need any gardening knowledge and we are a friendly and helpful group and you can be assured of a warm welcome and will make new friends.

7. Where is your favourite green space in St Annes?

I love walking through Ashton Gardens and we are very lucky to have this beautiful park on our doorstep.
