Beating the weather

It may be a wet and windy Autumn so far but our volunteers have been very busy preparing to bring colour to St Annes.

We would like to say a big thank you to all of the volunteers who have rallied to our call and helped us out.

They came to the Depot at Ashton gardens and planted up spring bedding and then we had another volunteering session when we planted thousands of daffs along Queensway.

We couldn’t do this work without you!

As you can see there is lots going on – if you would like to join us as a volunteer please get in touch, we will be very happy to see you

The Spring bulb display along Queensway was fantastic last year and much appreciated by motorists using this route

We are aiming to make it even better this coming Spring, and despite the aftermath of Hurricaine Brian our volunteers managed to plant lots more bulbs on Sunday
