St Annes in Bloom are taking over the organisation and collection of Christmas trees this January so here are the details.
Volunteers from St Anne’s in Bloom will be collecting your Christmas Trees on the weekend of 7th / 8th January 2017. Please leave your tree close to your front gate where it can be seen from the road. There is no charge for this service and your used Christmas tree will be put to good use by helping to protect the sand dunes.
Please let us know you have a tree for collection by e-mailing Carol Lanyon carollanyon@hotmail.com or texting 07933 275048 with your address.
If you don’t live in St Anne’s then Fylde Borough Council will be providing dedicated areas where trees can be left and council staff will ensure they get to the beach. See http://www.fylde.gov.uk/resident/recycling-refuse/christmastree/ for details.
Sorry for posting this a little early, however, we have already received enquiries. Thanks for your support – it’s good to know that your Christmas tree will be making a difference!
Merry Christmas.
